For professionals in beverage management, the process of inventorying wine, beer, and spirits can be time-consuming and arduous. As a component of the BinWise Beverage Management Platform, the newly launched BinWise iOS app leverages barcode scanning technology to facilitate a streamlined and efficient approach to conducting inventory at wine cellars, bars, and other hospitality venues.

To utilize the BinWise iOS app, load it onto an iPod Touch (5th generation) and pair it with the Honeywell Captuvo SL22 scanner sled. Carrying out inventory involves scanning the barcode on each bottle or on an inventory scan sheet. Compared to the traditional manual inventory procedures, the BinWise iOS app boasts the potential to reduce inventory time by up to 85% while significantly enhancing accuracy. The entire inventory process, including reconciliation and transmission to accounting, can be seamlessly managed within the platform.

The key features of the BinWise iOS app include:

 <li>Accelerated completion of inventory counts using barcode scanning for wine, beer, liquor, as well as non-beverage items such as chinaware, glassware, silverware, and more</li>
 <li>Management of separate counts for larger establishments with multiple storage or service areas along with the generation of customized reports</li>
 <li>Rapid counting of items with partial quantities</li>
 <li>Ability to operate the app without a scanner sled by searching for wines via name or barcode and entering quantities manually</li>
 <li>Scanning of multiple inventory locations and transmission via Wi-Fi for processing and reconciliation through BinWise</li>
 <li>Access to all previously archived scans including sender and timestamp information</li>
 <li>On-demand wine lookups with detailed information available for all wines within the BinWise platform</li>
